Vegetable Varieties for 2011
The following list is still somewhat a work in progress. I will update it if new varieties are added. One thing that’s obvious to me is that we are growing a lot of different Asian vegetables and quite a variety of lettuces and tomatoes. We harvested almost 20 pounds of Asian greens last year, and I would like to grow even more this year. And I try to have lettuce to eat year round. Last year we got 45 pounds of it. As for the tomatoes – who can have too many kinds of tomatoes?!?

Gracious, how big is your garden?! You’re growing all of those? I’m not even growing half that number of vegetables, forget that many varieties.
We have about 1500 square feet of space for growing vegetables, plus I grow some varieties for other garden projects.
I try to keep my garden simple. I see you have some varities I have never heard of. I might have to look up the white cucumber!
