Baking Pita Bread

If you’re at all familiar with baking, and have a pizza stone or baking tiles, then making pita bread is easy. It’s also a fun thing to do with kids and family.
To make pita crisps, cut pita in pieces, place on baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes in 400F oven.

Whole Wheat Flaxseed Rolls

These rolls are lighter and less dense than the original recipe, due to the addition of vital wheat gluten to give them more rise. I knead the dough with a Kitchenaid mixer, using the dough hook. It only takes about 5 minutes of machine-kneading to produce a nice elastic dough.

Whole Wheat Banana Muffins

This recipe is a good way to use up overripe bananas. You can even use bananas which have been frozen. Just thaw them out first and then mash them. The white whole wheat flour makes the muffins more nutritious, and is a great way to add whole grains to your diet.
